Provides elegant high-capacity power and communications to freestanding environments through Ability's new Outpost family. Ability can be integrated with Transit® and T/O/S, as well as other systems furniture, to make existing environments more dynamic, efficient and functional. Ability components can also be combined to create complete, independent work areas. A variety of mobile tables, storage units and telescoping screens function free of architecture or panels, creating dynamic workspaces or conference areas that can be reconfigured as required. Key products include: Outpost Outpost provides an elegant, highly evolved source of lighting, power and communications access, enhancing the mobility of Ability furniture. The Outpost family consists of two key products, the Outpost Column and the Outpost Port: Outpost Column - Delivers lighting, power and data connections to any individual or interactive work area in virtually any office landscape. Accessories include the Column Uplight, a direct/indirect ambient light fixture that mounts to the Column, and which can be used with the Column Sail to reflect indirect light. Outpost Port - Port's lower profile is suited to meeting rooms, training rooms and common work areas which undergo a rapid tempo of change and constant evolution of the space. Used in conjunction with raised access floors, Outpost Port allows space to be used fluidly according to changing needs.
